Healing Conference with Father Nigel Mumford

FORMATION PROGRAMS

Alpha Course

Tuesdays, 6pm dinner + 7pm program (through March 13, 2012)

Explore the meaning of life with Alpha. This course is your opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed friendly environment through 12 thought-provoking video sessions followed by discussion.

Bible Study

Wednesdays, 10:30am (now through March 28, 2012)

Join Father Wilde for The Original Equipping: Journeying with the First Disciples through the Book of Acts. Student study books, along with The Visual Bible video segments, make this course terrific.

Coming Feb 29 thru March 28: The Decalogue for Disciples, a series of five talks on
the Ten Commandments, with opportunity for prayerful meditation and discussion..

Mere Christianity

Wednesdays, 5:30pm (February 8 through March 21, 2012)

Join Father Rowe for six sessions on C.S. Lewis' famous book, Mere Christianity, focusing on what being a Christian really means. Registration and book are required. Sign up in the narthex or through the parish office.

ONGOING EVENTS

Centering Prayer

Tuesdays, 9am

Prayerful contemplation is good for the soul and all are invited to this weekly gathering. Come and immerse yourself in a period of silent prayer in the St. Mary Chapel. We gather each Tuesday at 10 am for about 40 minutes, beginning with a brief devotional thought, praying in silence and then sharing any insights gained.

Foyer Group

Small groups of 6, 8 or 10 have been formed and will meet for a simple meal three times before the end of the year. This is an excellent way to meet others who attend a different service than you do. If you forgot to sign up, just returned from up North or are new to St. Mary’s we will gladly make room for you in a group.

TAIZÉ: Prayer, Praise & Reflection

Taizé services of prayer, praise and reflection will be held in the Flora Linda Garden on the third Sunday of the month and special occasions as announced.
