ST. MARY'S FEAST DAY
Friday, August 15

August 15 is the Feast of St. Mary the Virgin, when we celebrate our Lady’s unique role in our redemption. By saying “yes” to God, she brought our Savior into the world. Her example encourages us to say “yes” in our own lives and to rejoice in God our Savior. Because St. Mary is our patron saint, this day is our Feast of Title when we particularly give thanks for and pray for our wonderful parish.
 
Solemn Eucharist (with incense) and grand procession with banners will be celebrated at 6PM. Appetizers will be served in the Flora Linda Garden immediately following the service and before dinner is served in the Parish Life Center. Our guest preacher will be the Rev. Sharon Lewis, Rector of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Osprey.
 
Wouldn’t this be a good time to invite a friend or neighbor to experience St. Mary’s?

3rd Tuesdays
The Order of St. Luke (OSL) meets at 10am for sharing in a small study of the miracles in the Bible and for healing prayers. Everyone is invited to attend these informal gatherings.

Each Wednesday
Pastor Gail will conduct a Bible Study at 10:30am in the Parish Life Center

At 11:30am, the chapel will be open for prayer and meditation.

12:00 Noon Holy Eucharist, followed by potluck lunch in The Parish Life Center. Everyone is welcome to attend — bring a friend and a potluck dish.
