Welcome to St. Mary’s!

I was glad when they said unto me, Come into the House of the Lord!” Psalm. 122:1

Whether you’ve come for worship or visiting for a few moments of reflection and spiritual comfort, St Mary’s welcomes you!

St. Mary’s is a lively faith community of people with diverse backgrounds and circumstances, whose spiritual journeys have come together and are embraced in God’s unconditional love and mercy. We do our best to live that love through Anglican worship, Christian formation, pastoral care and outreach.

Worship at St. Mary’s is offered throughout the week. Our Eucharist, celebrated 5 days each week, is shaped around the rich liturgy and music of the Anglican tradition where…Word and Sacrament come together in celebration and service. Morning and Evening Prayer are available three days a week and the Sanctuary is open for personal prayer every day. A unique and varied schedule of other worship opportunities continues throughout the year with Choral Matins, Evensong and Advent Lessons. See all the regularly scheduled worship services on the Worship web page.

The Pastoral Care Team actively serves your needs on many important levels. If you are sick or have a concern about yourself or a loved one, navigate to the Pastoral Care web page and send an e-mail to the address shown, or call the Church Office at 239-992-4343. A member of the clergy or member of the pastoral care team will contact you.

Christian formation is a vast ministry with a crucially important mandate: to foster Christian maturity among St. Mary’s members individually and as a community. Effective Christian formation is evident in deeper understanding, deeper spiritual life and deeper service. To put it another way, Christian formation helps us “be devoted to God with our whole heart and to love another with pure affection”. (See Proper 9 collect in The Book of Common Prayer, page 230. See more information on the Christian Formation web page.

We have a very active Episcopal Church Women group (ECW) with a wealth of activities to share our lives in Christ dividing our time in service and celebration. Please visit the ECW web page.

Fellowship flourishes at St. Mary’s. Be our guest on Sunday for fellowship at coffee hour in the Parish Life Center after the 8 AM and 10 AM Eucharists. Foyer Groups meet regularly for meals and conversation. Special events throughout the year include the parish picnic and St. Mary’s Day celebrations.

Welcome receptions bring newcomers and others considering a new spiritual home together with the clergy, established parish members and the church’s lay leadership. These are special opportunities for fellowship, refreshment and getting to know more about you. You will also learn about how St. Mary’s traditions of worship and the vitality of its parish life can enrich your life.
