St. Mary’s Chapter of the Daughters of the King

Founded in 1885, the Order of the Daughters of the King is open to women who are communicants of The Episcopal Church.  Members of the DOK wear the order’s distinctive cross (design pictured above) and focus on prayer, evangelism, and service in their parish, their community, and the world.

St. Mary’s Bethany Chapter was established on November 19, 2023.  Members participate at the level of the parish, the deanery, the diocese, the Province (SE United States), and National levels.

A Junior Daughters program for girls and teens, ages 7-21, is also available.

The discernment course for women interested in learning more about the order is offered periodically, often via Zoom.  For further information, please consult any member of the chapter.
